Insurance Repairs & Home Renovation (2024)
When we sold our house and bought some land in Waiuku we didn’t really have a plan, just a vision of what could be. We talked to some big name build companies and quickly became frustrated with the standard floor plans that didn’t work on our site and specifications with no flexibility.
On the recommendations of a few locals we mad an appointment
with Designmax (I’d known Craig and Nicky for years, but didn’t
really know what they did).
From the moment we met Designmax everything was different.
It was now about OUR family, OUR lifestyle and OUR vision.
They took the time out to listen, to understand, to advise and
at times give us honest answers or debate the best outcome.
What we got was a completely unique design with our choice of everything. For us building across 3 lock downs, working full-time
and having 2 pre-schoolers presented some challenges.
The Designmax team couldn’t have been more professional
and genuine. Designmax went above and beyond for us again and again. I was made to feel like part of the team every step of the way.
Now having lived in our new home for several months, it’s better than we ever dreamed. People often ask if I would change anything.

We used Designmax Homes to draw up the plans for our house build. Pretty much straight away I felt at complete ease with them. They listened to what we wanted and put in the extra effort when it came to a couple of sticking points with Council.
From visiting the house site to making sure we were 100% happy with the plans before going into Council. Highly recommend if you are planning a new house build. Absolute pleasure to work with.

An afternoon meeting with Craig at our build-site to discuss plans for our new home made us realise we had made the right choice to use Designmax Homes. It was obvious from the beginning of the project that Craig and his team had our best interests at heart. There are loads of reasons why we would highly recommend Designmax Homes, but for us it was the level of service we still received after we moved in.
