Hi, we're Craig and Nicky Lipscombe - and a very warm welcome to Designmax Homes!

We are Waiuku locals and parents to three great children: Cody, a qualified builder who froths about fishing and is currently a deckie on a charter boat in Cairns, Tara, a software engineer currently working and living in Sydney for Canva, and our youngest Keely who is currently working on a superyacht in Florida pursuing her career in yachting.

 

After nearly 20 years on the tools as a qualified builder and project manager, and with Nicky's background in accounts, we started Designmax in August 2006 to offer our community a trusted, local design & build solution.  From day one, our focus has been on quality craftsmanship and working with the best local tradespeople we know and trust.

 

Since then, we've built over 200 unique homes, sheds and lifestyle projects - each one a reflection of our client's vision and our team's pride in doing things right.  Today our experienced team includes a project manager, licensed site foreman, two qualified Builders & three apprentices on site, with a design manager & an in-house draftsperson in the office - each dedicated to delivering a seamless build experience.
