At DESiGNMAX, we don't believe in standard plans.  There is no such thing as One Size Fits All when it comes to 
designing and building a home &/or lifestyle building.  

You can count on our honesty.  If we don't think we are the company for you because an "off the shelf" option will more than fulfill your needs we will let you know.  

Listen

We provide an initial consultation during which we listen to and discuss your ideas for your proposed building layout offering innovative, yet practical, advice on building layout, style and cost.  
We find this first meeting invaluable in enabling us to understand our client's vision as well as their functional needs for their project.
We will also arrange a time with you to conduct a site visit to ensure your design ideas will make the best possible use of your building site while meeting all of your needs & your proposed budget.

Document

Once the design has been finalised and agreed upon we will provide you with a fixed price contract for your project. 
On your acceptance of this contract we can get your project started which includes providing all necessary plans, building consents & and any other documentation required for the build.  Our in-house qualified drafts people ensure that we can have the plans finalised & into Council in a timely fashion.  We also liaise with Council to get the Building Consent approved as soon as possible so that your project can be underway.  We will also provide you with an expected timetable for your build so that you can prepare & plan as needed.

Design

Using information from our initials consultation we will finalise a floor plan that we can use to create an accurate 3-D CAD model of your proposed building using our 'inhouse' Draughtsmen,  modifying it until it's exactly what you want.  
This 3-D model in turn enables us to accurately cost the project so that there are no surprises throughout the remainder of the building process.  
This part of the process can take some time as we prefer to take the time here to ensure we get the design right.  We provide the same service as an architect but better as we have innovative ways to build a house with a difference for a realistic price. 

Build

Once the Building Consent is approved your build can officially start.  We will already have things underway so that we can start your project immediately. Throughout the entire process we liaise with yourselves, building contractors, Council Inspectors and our selected tradesmen to ensure complete precision, professionalism and quality for our project.

We have a network of qualified tradespeople and suppliers that we deal with for all of our projects.  This enables us to ensure a stress-free build for our clients with the end result being the creation of a superior quality home or lifestyle building that fulfills our clients needs and that all those involved in are proud to have been a part of.
